Who We Are

VeelIQ ("VeelIQ", "we", "our", or "us") is the company operating this website and the VeelIQ platform, an AI solutions provider that delivers tools for individuals and businesses via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Our solutions currently include Context, a private knowledge and memory layer for your AI (in Beta), and the Plugin Marketplace, a subscription catalog of AI plugins that give your AI new abilities (coming soon).

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal data we collect through this website and our platform.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service. This includes:

• Email address: provided voluntarily when you sign up or create an account.
• Referrer URL: the page you visited before arriving on our site, captured automatically by your browser.
• User agent string: your browser and operating system, collected to understand our audience.
• Sign-up timestamp: the date and time your submission was recorded.
• Plugin Marketplace waitlist answers: if you join the waitlist, your answers about your role, the AI tools you use and the plugin you want first (including any text you write for "Other"), the campaign that brought you (UTM source, medium and campaign, when the link had them), the date and time you gave consent, and whether and when you confirmed your email. We do not store your IP address with your signup.
• Subscription and billing data: managed by our payment processor; we do not store full card details.
• Content you provide (Context): documents you upload to your Context knowledge base and memories your AI agent saves on your behalf. This content is stored solely to deliver the service back to you and is never used for any other purpose.
• Tool call metadata: when your AI client calls a VeelIQ tool, we log the tool name, timestamp, and latency for reliability and billing. We do not retain the content of your AI conversations.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your VeelIQ account and subscription.
• To deliver the solutions and tools you have subscribed to via your personal MCP server URL.
• To store and retrieve your Context content (the documents you upload and the memories your agent saves) so your AI can search and recall them when you ask.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, subscription changes).
• To understand where our audience is coming from and improve the product experience.
• To contact waitlist members about the Plugin Marketplace beta, and to decide which plugins and AI clients to build for first, based on your consent.
• To send you a single email asking you to confirm your waitlist signup (double opt-in). Until you confirm, we do not send you anything else.
• To prevent fraud and maintain the integrity of the service.

We will never sell your data or use it for purposes incompatible with those listed above. We never train AI models on your content: your documents and memories exist only to serve your own AI.

Data Storage & Security

Account data and Context content are stored in Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL platform with industry-standard security practices, including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).

Your Context data lives in your own isolated space: row level security (RLS) is enforced on every table, so your documents and memories are only ever accessible through your own authenticated endpoint.

Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS and is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt) region. The Context API that serves your endpoint runs on Fly.io in the same region.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: our database provider (see Section 4).
• Fly.io: hosts the Context API in the EU (Frankfurt) region. Requests to your Context endpoint and your content pass through it in transit to Supabase.
• Voyage AI: our embedding and reranking provider. It receives the text of your document chunks, memories, instructions, tasks, notes and search queries to power search and recall. Notes you mark as private are never sent.
• Groq: our LLM inference provider, used for two tasks. It receives the audio track of audio and video files you upload, to transcribe them into text. It also receives the text of memories your agent saves, after detected secrets such as passwords and API keys are removed, so a language model can flag duplicates, contradictions and facts that may go out of date.
• Payment processor: billing data is handled by our third-party payment provider; we never store card numbers.
• Resend: our email delivery provider. It receives your email address and the confirmation email we send when you join the Plugin Marketplace waitlist.
• Google Fonts: font assets loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log the request; see Google's Privacy Policy.
• Legal authorities: if required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

All third-party providers are bound to process your data only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable data-protection laws.

We send your content to our AI providers solely to deliver the Service to you, and we do not use it to train or fine-tune AI models. Voyage AI and Groq process data in the United States, and Resend may do so as well. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies & Tracking

This website currently does not use cookies, local storage, analytics scripts, or any persistent client-side tracking technologies beyond what is necessary for authentication.

Should we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms will be implemented before any tracking begins.

Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain minimal data for billing and legal compliance purposes for up to 3 years as required by applicable law.

You control your Context content directly: deleting a document source or a memory from your dashboard removes it from retrieval immediately.

We keep Plugin Marketplace waitlist data until the beta opens and the waitlist closes, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Upon your request for deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR, the UK under UK GDPR, and California under CCPA), you may have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure: request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction: request that we limit how we use your data.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent: opt out of communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@veeliq.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Children's Privacy

VeelIQ is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify account holders by email.

Continued use of VeelIQ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
